Terms and Conditions

WHITE INK PUBLISHING — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated: 19 August 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of whiteinkpublishing.com, including the purchase, download and use of digital publications offered by White Ink Publishing.

White Ink Publishing is a digital publishing brand and business operated by Arun Suresh Tiwari (“White Ink Publishing”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Website: whiteinkpublishing.com
Email: contact@whiteinkpublishing.com
Grievance Officer: Arun Suresh Tiwari

By accessing our website, placing an order or purchasing a digital publication, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not place an order or use the website in a manner requiring acceptance of them.

2. Eligibility and Adult-Directed Purchases

Our publications may be suitable for families, students, teenagers and children. However, our ecommerce checkout and payment process are intended to be adult-directed.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • you are legally capable of entering into the transaction; or

  • where appropriate, the transaction is being completed or supervised by a parent or lawful guardian.

Persons under 18 should not independently submit payment credentials or make purchases without appropriate adult involvement.

3. About White Ink Publishing

White Ink Publishing creates and distributes digital publications across areas including:

  • Education;

  • Psychology;

  • Spirituality & Religion;

  • Self-Development and Motivation.

Individual publications may have different authors, editors, contributors, subject matter, languages and intended audiences.

White Ink Publishing is presently operated by Arun Suresh Tiwari. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as representing White Ink Publishing as an incorporated company unless its legal structure is formally changed and the website is updated accordingly.

4. Use of the Website

You may use the website for lawful personal purposes, including:

  • learning about White Ink Publishing;

  • viewing publication information;

  • purchasing eligible products;

  • downloading legitimately purchased digital products;

  • contacting us for support;

  • submitting genuine enquiries, corrections or feedback.

You must not use the website:

  • for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • to interfere with the website's security or operation;

  • to attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;

  • to introduce malware or harmful code;

  • to conduct fraudulent payment activity;

  • to impersonate another person;

  • to misuse customer-support systems;

  • to obtain, reproduce or redistribute digital publications without lawful authorisation.

We may take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect our website, publications, customers and systems from fraud, misuse or security threats.

5. Product Information

We aim to provide clear and accurate information about each publication.

Depending on the publication, this may include:

  • title;

  • language;

  • format;

  • edition;

  • authorship or editorial credits;

  • description;

  • price;

  • principal features;

  • digital format;

  • delivery information;

  • compatibility information, where relevant.

Please review the relevant product page before completing your purchase.

Digital publications may appear slightly different across devices, operating systems, PDF readers, ebook applications and screen sizes.

Minor display variations that do not materially affect the publication's content or usability do not necessarily constitute a defect.

6. Product Availability

A publication displayed on the website may be:

  • available for purchase;

  • coming soon;

  • temporarily unavailable;

  • discontinued;

  • replaced by an updated or revised edition.

Display of a publication does not guarantee permanent availability.

We may update, suspend or discontinue products where reasonably necessary.

This does not remove rights relating to an order that has already been validly completed.

7. Prices

The applicable selling price will be displayed on the relevant product page or checkout before the purchase is completed.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹);

  • the amount payable will be shown before payment;

  • applicable taxes or charges, if any, will be dealt with in accordance with the information displayed at checkout and applicable law.

We may change prices prospectively.

A price change will not ordinarily change the price of an already completed purchase.

Obvious Pricing Errors

If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious typographical, technical or system error, we may correct the error.

If an affected order has already been paid and cannot reasonably be fulfilled at the erroneous price, we may cancel the order and initiate an appropriate refund of the amount actually received.

We will not unilaterally charge a higher amount after completion of a purchase without the customer's agreement.

8. Promotions, Discounts and Bundles

White Ink Publishing may offer:

  • introductory prices;

  • launch offers;

  • discounts;

  • coupon codes;

  • bundles;

  • special editions;

  • limited-period promotions.

Any special conditions will be disclosed with the relevant offer.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, offers:

  • may have stated eligibility conditions;

  • may not be combinable;

  • may apply only during the published promotional period;

  • may be modified or withdrawn prospectively;

  • do not retrospectively alter completed orders.

White Ink Publishing does not intend to use fake countdowns, false scarcity or misleading promotional claims.

9. Placing an Order

Before completing a purchase, you should review:

  • the publication selected;

  • product description;

  • price;

  • email address and other details entered;

  • delivery information;

  • these Terms;

  • our Privacy Policy;

  • our Refund & Cancellation Policy;

  • our Digital Delivery Policy.

Please enter your email address carefully because digital-delivery or order information may be sent to that address.

An order may be declined, held or cancelled where reasonably necessary because of:

  • failed or unconfirmed payment;

  • suspected fraud;

  • duplicate transactions;

  • obvious pricing errors;

  • technical errors;

  • regulatory or legal restrictions;

  • inability to fulfil the product.

Where a successfully paid order is cancelled by us before fulfilment, an appropriate refund will be initiated in accordance with the applicable payment process and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Payments

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another payment service identified at checkout.

Available methods may depend on the payment provider and may include eligible:

  • UPI payment methods;

  • debit cards;

  • credit cards;

  • net banking;

  • wallets;

  • other supported payment methods.

Payment processing may also be governed by the payment provider's own applicable terms and privacy policies.

White Ink Publishing does not ask customers to send:

  • OTPs;

  • UPI PINs;

  • card PINs;

  • internet-banking passwords;

  • other confidential payment authentication credentials

through email, our Contact form, WhatsApp or ordinary support communications.

Never disclose such credentials to anyone claiming that White Ink Publishing requires them for customer support.

11. Payment Confirmation

A digital order will ordinarily proceed to fulfilment only after successful payment confirmation or other valid confirmation through the relevant payment system.

A transaction displayed as:

  • pending;

  • failed;

  • incomplete; or

  • unconfirmed

does not necessarily constitute a successfully completed order.

If your account appears to have been debited but you have not received an order confirmation, contact:

contact@whiteinkpublishing.com

Please provide only appropriate non-sensitive information such as the order number or transaction reference.

Do not provide your OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or banking password.

12. Digital Delivery and Delivery Timeframe

White Ink Publishing primarily sells digital publications.

After successful payment confirmation, digital delivery will be initiated electronically using the delivery method stated on the relevant product page and in our Digital Delivery Policy.

The delivery method may include:

  • a secure download link;

  • access through an order-confirmation page;

  • an email containing download or access information;

  • another clearly disclosed electronic-delivery method.

The expected delivery timeframe will be stated in our Digital Delivery Policy and/or relevant purchase information.

If your purchased publication is not received or made available within the stated delivery timeframe, please contact:

contact@whiteinkpublishing.com

We will investigate the transaction and provide appropriate assistance.

Important Operational Note

Until our live payment and digital-delivery system has been fully tested, White Ink Publishing does not promise an exact number of minutes for automated delivery.

Once the live Hostinger/Razorpay delivery workflow has been verified, the published delivery timeframe may be updated to reflect actual system performance.

13. Customer Email and Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for entering a valid and accessible email address when placing an order.

If you accidentally enter an incorrect email address, contact us promptly.

Where reasonably possible and after appropriate order verification, we may:

  • correct relevant delivery information;

  • resend delivery information;

  • reissue access to the legitimate purchaser.

We may request reasonable order-identification details before reissuing access to protect customers and prevent unauthorised distribution.

We will not require banking passwords, UPI PINs, OTPs or similar credentials for ordinary order verification.

14. Download and Access Responsibility

Where a product is supplied through a downloadable file or a download-limited or time-limited link, customers should download and securely store their legitimate copy within the applicable access conditions.

Unless expressly promised on the product page, a purchase does not automatically include:

  • lifetime cloud storage;

  • unlimited future downloads;

  • indefinite hosting;

  • guaranteed compatibility with all future software;

  • guaranteed compatibility with every device.

If a genuine purchaser encounters a legitimate access problem, contact:

contact@whiteinkpublishing.com

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and remedy genuine delivery problems.

15. Digital Publication Licence

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchase of a White Ink Publishing digital publication grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for lawful personal use of the purchased publication.

Purchase does not transfer:

  • copyright;

  • publishing rights;

  • trademark rights;

  • commercial reproduction rights;

  • distribution rights;

  • ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

The customer receives the right to use the lawfully purchased digital copy subject to these Terms and applicable law.

16. Permitted Personal Use

Subject to the relevant publication and applicable law, a legitimate purchaser may generally:

  • read the publication on personal devices;

  • retain a lawful personal copy;

  • use it for personal study;

  • use it for personal devotional reading;

  • use it for personal reference;

  • make reasonable personal notes.

Broader reproduction, classroom distribution, commercial copying, institutional distribution or redistribution may require separate written permission unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.

17. Prohibited Redistribution and Copyright Misuse

Without written permission or another lawful basis, you must not:

  • publicly upload the entire publication;

  • distribute copies through file-sharing services;

  • circulate purchased files through WhatsApp, Telegram, email groups or social networks;

  • resell digital files;

  • provide unauthorised copies to third parties;

  • reproduce substantial portions for commercial distribution;

  • remove or circumvent lawful copyright or access protections;

  • falsely claim authorship or ownership;

  • use a personal-use copy as an unauthorised institutional licence;

  • create or sell an unauthorised competing reproduction.

Nothing in this clause restricts statutory rights or copyright exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original materials on the website and in White Ink Publishing publications—including text, artwork, layouts, branding, graphics, publication design and other proprietary materials—are owned by, licensed to, or lawfully used by White Ink Publishing and/or the relevant authors, editors or rights holders.

The names, branding, publication titles and logos associated with White Ink Publishing may be protected under applicable intellectual-property law.

No statement on this website should be interpreted as claiming a registered trademark, copyright registration or other formal registration unless such registration has actually been obtained.

19. Religious and Devotional Publications

White Ink Publishing seeks to treat religious and devotional content with care, dignity and respect.

Religious traditions may legitimately include:

  • textual variations;

  • regional variations;

  • pronunciation differences;

  • customary differences;

  • family traditions;

  • sampradaya-specific practices;

  • differing scholarly or devotional interpretations.

Where a publication provides meanings, explanations, devotional interpretations or traditional context, they are intended to assist understanding and are not intended to invalidate other legitimate traditions.

White Ink Publishing does not claim that every interpretation represents the view of every:

  • priest;

  • guru;

  • scholar;

  • temple;

  • institution;

  • sampradaya;

  • family tradition;

  • devotee.

Where authoritative personal religious guidance is required, readers may consult an appropriate qualified priest, guru, teacher or recognised traditional authority.

20. Educational Publications

Educational publications are intended to support learning and understanding.

Unless expressly and lawfully stated otherwise, they do not guarantee:

  • examination marks;

  • examination success;

  • rank;

  • admission;

  • employment;

  • professional qualification;

  • any particular academic result.

Educational outcomes depend on factors beyond White Ink Publishing's control.

This clause does not prevent customers from raising legitimate complaints concerning materially inaccurate, defective or misleading content.

21. Psychology, Wellbeing and Self-Development Content

Publications dealing with psychology, wellbeing, motivation, behaviour or self-development are primarily educational and informational unless expressly stated otherwise.

They are not intended to replace individual:

  • medical diagnosis;

  • psychiatric diagnosis;

  • psychotherapy;

  • medical treatment;

  • emergency care;

  • professional mental-health advice.

White Ink Publishing does not guarantee:

  • medical outcomes;

  • psychological outcomes;

  • behavioural change;

  • financial success;

  • career success;

  • relationship outcomes;

  • personal transformation.

Where professional assistance is needed, readers should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

22. No Miracle or Guaranteed-Outcome Claims

White Ink Publishing does not promise or guarantee that purchasing or reading a publication will produce:

  • miracles;

  • supernatural outcomes;

  • guaranteed blessings;

  • cures;

  • guaranteed financial results;

  • guaranteed examination results;

  • guaranteed psychological outcomes;

  • guaranteed personal transformation.

Traditional devotional expressions contained within religious texts should be understood within their appropriate devotional, literary and traditional context.

23. Editorial Accuracy and Corrections

We aim to review publications carefully and provide clear, responsible and accurate material.

However, no website or publication can reasonably be guaranteed to contain absolutely no:

  • typographical errors;

  • formatting issues;

  • technical errors;

  • omissions;

  • interpretive differences.

If you identify a possible error, please contact:

contact@whiteinkpublishing.com

We welcome genuine correction feedback.

Where appropriate, White Ink Publishing may issue corrections or update future digital editions.

24. Revised, Corrected and Future Editions

White Ink Publishing may release:

  • corrected files;

  • updated files;

  • revised editions;

  • expanded editions;

  • reformatted editions;

  • new editions.

Purchase of one edition does not automatically entitle the purchaser to every future paid edition unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where White Ink Publishing voluntarily provides a corrected replacement of substantially the same purchased edition, that does not create a general obligation to provide all future editions without charge.

25. Refunds and Cancellations

Because White Ink Publishing primarily supplies digital publications that may become immediately accessible after delivery, refund rules differ from those commonly applicable to returnable physical goods.

Change of Mind

After a digital publication has been successfully delivered, accessed or downloaded, a change of mind will generally not, by itself, qualify for a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Situations We Will Review

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits a refund, replacement, redelivery or other remedy required by applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances, appropriate remedial action may be available where, for example:

  • the customer was charged more than once for the same intended purchase;

  • payment was successfully received but the purchased publication was not delivered due to an issue attributable to us;

  • the wrong publication was supplied;

  • the supplied digital file is materially corrupted or unusable and we cannot reasonably remedy the problem;

  • the publication supplied materially differs from its advertised description;

  • another refund or remedy is required under applicable law.

Where a technical delivery or file problem can reasonably be corrected by redelivery or replacement, we may first offer an appropriate corrected copy or restored access.

The complete procedure, exclusions and refund process are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

India's Consumer Protection Act expressly includes digital products within its concept of ecommerce, so mandatory statutory consumer remedies cannot be removed simply because a product is supplied digitally. (India Code)

26. Cancellation Before Digital Delivery

Where cancellation is technically possible before payment confirmation or digital fulfilment has occurred, the matter will be handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable payment status.

Once a digital publication has been successfully delivered or accessed, the change-of-mind rule described above will ordinarily apply.

We will not impose cancellation charges in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

27. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe that:

  • you were incorrectly charged;

  • payment was duplicated;

  • an order was not delivered;

  • an unauthorised transaction occurred,

contact us promptly at:

contact@whiteinkpublishing.com

Where practical, giving us an opportunity to investigate may allow the issue to be resolved quickly.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising lawful rights through:

  • their bank;

  • the payment provider;

  • a Consumer Commission;

  • a competent authority;

  • another legally available mechanism.

Fraudulent or knowingly false chargeback claims may be investigated and addressed in accordance with applicable law.

28. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to our separate Privacy Policy.

That Policy addresses matters including:

  • information collected;

  • purposes of processing;

  • payments;

  • service providers;

  • cookies;

  • analytics;

  • security;

  • retention;

  • privacy requests;

  • grievance handling.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy should be read together.

29. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to independent third-party services, including:

  • Hostinger;

  • Razorpay;

  • email providers;

  • social-media platforms;

  • analytics services, if enabled;

  • other technical services.

Such services may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies and operating conditions.

White Ink Publishing does not control an independent third party merely because its service is linked to or integrated with our website.

This clause does not exclude any responsibility that applicable law places directly on White Ink Publishing.

30. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website and store functional, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Temporary disruption may occur because of:

  • maintenance;

  • hosting problems;

  • software updates;

  • payment-provider outages;

  • internet failures;

  • security incidents;

  • events beyond reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to address material problems affecting our services.

Where a paid order cannot be fulfilled, applicable consumer remedies and our Refund & Cancellation Policy continue to apply.

31. Device and Software Compatibility

Digital publications may require:

  • a compatible device;

  • appropriate PDF or ebook-reading software;

  • sufficient storage;

  • internet access for initial delivery;

  • access to the email account used for purchase.

Customers should review specific technical requirements disclosed on the relevant product page.

We are not ordinarily responsible for failures caused solely by a customer's incompatible device or unsupported third-party software where the publication supplied is functional and accurately described.

Where a compatibility problem results from materially incorrect information provided by White Ink Publishing, we will review the matter fairly.

32. Website and Account Security

You must not knowingly:

  • bypass security controls;

  • attempt to access another customer's information;

  • interfere with payment systems;

  • exploit vulnerabilities;

  • inject malicious software;

  • conduct automated attacks;

  • disrupt website operation.

Suspected fraud, unlawful conduct or security abuse may be blocked, investigated or reported where appropriate.

33. Restriction of Access for Serious Misuse

We may reasonably restrict access to our website or services where necessary to address:

  • fraud;

  • illegal activity;

  • material security threats;

  • repeated abusive conduct;

  • serious copyright infringement;

  • deliberate interference with our systems.

Any such action will be proportionate where reasonably practicable.

Restriction of access does not automatically extinguish rights relating to a legitimate completed order or mandatory consumer rights.

34. Feedback, Reviews and Testimonials

Customers may voluntarily provide:

  • feedback;

  • correction suggestions;

  • reviews;

  • support enquiries;

  • publication comments.

Submitting private correspondence does not automatically authorise White Ink Publishing to publish the customer's name or message as a testimonial.

Where identifiable feedback is proposed for public promotional use, appropriate permission should be obtained.

35. Limitation of Responsibility

Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits or waives liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that principle, White Ink Publishing will not ordinarily be responsible for losses caused solely by matters outside its reasonable control, including:

  • failure of a customer's own device;

  • loss of access to the customer's email account;

  • independent internet failures;

  • disclosure of confidential credentials by the customer;

  • external service outages that White Ink Publishing could not reasonably prevent.

We do not exclude responsibility where applicable law requires otherwise.

36. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

White Ink Publishing will not be considered to have deliberately failed to perform an obligation where performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances genuinely outside reasonable control, such as:

  • major hosting outages;

  • widespread internet disruption;

  • natural disasters;

  • government restrictions;

  • payment-network failures;

  • cyber incidents;

  • comparable extraordinary events.

We will take reasonable steps to restore affected services where practicable.

This provision does not remove refund, consumer or other remedies that must remain available under applicable law.

37. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms when reasonably necessary because of changes in:

  • applicable law;

  • business structure;

  • products;

  • ecommerce systems;

  • payment systems;

  • digital-delivery methods;

  • technology;

  • security requirements;

  • business operations.

The updated version will display a revised Last updated date.

Material changes will ordinarily operate prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.

A completed transaction will not ordinarily be retrospectively rewritten merely because these website Terms are subsequently changed.

38. Changes in Business Structure

If White Ink Publishing is later incorporated, restructured, transferred, reorganised or succeeded by another legally permitted business structure, relevant rights and obligations may be transferred where permitted by applicable law.

Where a business change materially affects customers, appropriate notice will be provided where legally required.

39. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or interpreted to the extent legally necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.

40. No Waiver

Failure by White Ink Publishing to immediately enforce a provision of these Terms does not automatically constitute a permanent waiver of that provision or any related legal right.

Any waiver will be interpreted according to applicable law.

41. Relationship Between Website Policies

These Terms should be read together with:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Digital Delivery Policy

  • product-specific conditions clearly disclosed before purchase.

If a mandatory legal requirement conflicts with any website policy, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.

Where two White Ink Publishing policies address the same issue, the more specific lawful policy or product-specific condition will ordinarily apply to that issue.

42. Consumer Grievance Redressal

For order issues, payment problems, delivery problems, privacy concerns or consumer grievances:

Grievance Officer: Arun Suresh Tiwari
White Ink Publishing
Email: contact@whiteinkpublishing.com

Please provide sufficient non-sensitive information for us to identify the matter, such as:

  • your name;

  • email used for the order;

  • order number, if available;

  • transaction reference, where relevant;

  • description of the issue.

Do not send:

  • OTPs;

  • UPI PINs;

  • card PINs;

  • CVVs;

  • banking passwords.

We aim to:

acknowledge applicable consumer complaints within 48 hours of receipt; and
redress them within one month from the date of receipt, or within any different period required by applicable law.

The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules provide for a grievance officer and the 48-hour acknowledgement/one-month redress framework. (LegitQuest)

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from using any statutory grievance, Consumer Commission or other remedy available under applicable law.

43. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and transactions through White Ink Publishing are governed by the applicable laws of India.

We encourage customers to contact us first so that genuine disputes can be investigated and, where possible, resolved promptly.

For disputes that are not subject to mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction or another statutory forum, and to the extent legally permissible, the competent courts having territorial jurisdiction over White Ink Publishing's principal place of business in Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms restricts a consumer's right to approach any Consumer Commission, court, authority or other forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

In particular, the Consumer Protection Act permits a consumer complaint, among other jurisdictional bases, to be instituted where the complainant resides or personally works for gain. (India Code)

Accordingly, these Terms are not intended to create an unlawful exclusive-jurisdiction restriction against consumers.

44. Applicable Law

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable Indian law, including where relevant:

  • the Indian Contract Act, 1872;

  • the Copyright Act, 1957;

  • the Information Technology Act, 2000;

  • the Consumer Protection Act, 2019;

  • the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as amended;

  • applicable privacy and data-protection requirements;

  • applicable payment and ecommerce requirements;

  • other mandatory law applicable to White Ink Publishing's activities.

The Consumer Protection Act defines ecommerce to include buying or selling goods or services, including digital products, over digital or electronic networks. (India Code)

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.
